Plain Goodwill Pottery Barn Pillows Transformed into CHRISTMAS pillows

Good Morning my Beauties!
Guess what..I have another Christmas project for you.
Craft wise, I am working on nothing but Christmas stuff now.
I have 3 booths that I need to fill and once Halloween is over we have direct orders to fill our
booths with Christmas. I think a lot of people are like me and use their Halloween/Fall stuff up until Thanksgiving; so not too many people around here are buying fall stuff.
That being said, my mind is always trying to think of things to do for the booth.

When shopping at Goodwill one day I spotted these 2 really nice pillows for $2 each.
I unzipped them and they are Down filled POTTERY BARN pillows. WOW!
The material was a very nice heavy cotton duck so I knew they would hold up to stenciling
and I knew just the stencil I wanted.

(You might remember last year I made some quick Reindeer Pallet art, you can see those HERE)

So I went out and grabbed my stencil and my paint. I took off the pillow covers and put a board inside of it to keep the paint from possibly bleeding through to the other side.
Once I had everything Positioned I grabbed my Master's Touch Acrylic paint in Crimson.
Its my favorite red for crafting at Christmas, because its not to dark and its not to pink and
its a nice heavy paint.

Once the paint has completely dried (I waited a couple days) I take a cloth and a hot iron and lay the cloth between the pillow covers and the iron and HEAT SET the paint.

Once that is done, I put the down inserts back in and they are ready to go...
More Merry Christmas stuff for the booth.
I hope you enjoyed this and find ways to change up thrift store or even your plain old things
laying around the house.
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!
