Its that time again! Come link up your projects

Twirl and Take a Bow Tuesday

"Deer" Friends,
Have you noticed the same thing I have? Yes, he {my oldest son} is cute up there in his Santa hat and deer t-shirt...thank you!
But no,  that's not what I was referring to.
Everywhere I look there are artificial deer heads with long horns

…on everything
…in picture frames, over mantels, and on t-shirts
…painted, and sewed on, and cut out.

When did artificial deer heads become all the rage?
Was it before Bella fell in love with Edward or after?
Was it around the same time the internet exploded with mason jar lights?
Or was it after burlap pillows and stockings?
Well, whenever it was, it seems like I blinked and then there they were in all their glory….
And what better time to fall in love with this trend, than at Christmas?
Reindeer, after all, do have a very important job.
This week I scoured our inspiring links and found 3 wonderful deer head projects to feature... so, "deer" friends, enjoy!

What a lovely mantel from The Colored Door.
It has just the right amount of glittery goodness mixed with chevron and Christmas Trees.

This deer applique by The Seasoned Homemaker, makes me want to run out and buy a bunch of thermal shirts, so I can create an army of cute and snuggly designs for all kids in my life.

I love glitter almost as much as stripes, so this project from 24 Cottonwood Lane is right up my alley too. I think I could even get the kids involved with this craft!
