Yeah, I thought I didn't have a post for this morning...heee heee...OOOPPS!!!! Its Monday what can I say. I remembered I had done 2 chairs to go with my old
Graphics Fairy Table that I had done. You can see that post
HERE
I have had these old dining chairs that ended up getting left out over a summer rainstorm last summer. So that had seen better days. I have had the plans for painting them for awhile, but I just had to get up the gumption (meaning make my way back to the pile of waiting furniture in the shed)
You can see they were pretty bad from the rain. So I got out the ole
HOME MADE CHALK PAINT recipe and used my favorite Ralph Lauren Espresso black brown color.
I used two thin coats just to make sure I got it covered and I didn't even need to sand it.

When it was dry I just used a dry cloth with some of the old white chalk paint residue and rubbed the chairs down, and the buffed them and distressed them with my wax. They are the perfect compliment to my little French drop leaf table. I hope you have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!!
