Welcome back my Beauties!
I hope the Holidays are treating you right.
I have been working my tail off, getting the house ready for Christmas and all that entails, and working on makeovers.
I have had to move into my studio in the house since we have had unseasonable Cold (even for Michigan) weather.

Recently I picked up this table at the local thrift shop.
It wasn't vintage or anything, but I loved all the details on it.
It was pretty beat up, but I knew I could bring it back with a little love.
I decided I wanted to do a two toned look on it so I chose
and Persian Blue
.
I gave the table a good sanding to scuff it up and give good adhesion and then wiped it all down to clean it up.
You can see here how it looked after its first coat.
I was loving the color combo but wanted to darken up the top.
To do that I just grabbed my General Finishes Brown Mahogany Gel stain
and gave it a pass over to darken up the Gray.
After it was dry I used my wipe on Gel Topcoat
to seal and protect the piece.
And here it is all prettied up.
I love the contrast of the darker top with the lighter bottom.
I also had slightly distressed all those fun details to help them POP a little bit more.
I just love how different it looks now.
I hope you enjoyed this latest makeover.
I feel bad that I haven't shared as much this last few weeks; but if you follow my Instagram Stories, you can always see what I am working on over there!
I would love to see you over there!
Well, I am back to my studio.
I am working on a depression Era dresser that I got for a steal, but needed some major TLC.
I hope to share it with you soon!
Until next time,
Have a Beautiful Day!
