The PERFECT coffee table
Here is another thrift store story. I walked into the thrift store and saw this thing looking pretty gross and unloved. I LOVED the legs on this table and the compact size..not too big...not too small....So I got to sanding. Man, back in the 70's they used some pretty industrial stuff...It took a while to get through that old finish on the top, but I did...:)
Then I got to spraying...
and spraying....
and spraying........:)
and Lucky Me....this is how she ended up looking....I distressed her a little and put her where she belongs....
She is HOME! Isn't she just the PERFECT coffee table????
I think so.
Have a beautiful day!!!!

It turned out great! The detail and spindles are really cool and spraying was definitely the way to go for this piece. Nice job!
Thanks Tracy, I am soooo happy with it!! :)
That is a nice table. The size is just right for your room. It was probably made better in the 70s, too ;).
Very nice and love the choice of black -- very sophisticated!
