new two tier table

Going to Ikea....Going to Ikea...Going to Ikea...Going to Ikea......Sorry...I am singing that in my head
right now because guess where I am going....?????
Can you guess....:) SOOO EXCITED!!
I have not been in 4 years and I normally go with a girlfriend, but I
convinced the hubby to take me and the whole FAM Damily...:)

So on that note..:) I will show you another fun transformation, made possible by my
cool spray gun from Harbor freight. I got this ugly table at Goodwill..

Gave her a coat of primer....

and started spraying...:)

then the fun part....oh wait...that WAS the fun part...:)
I got to distress her and give her a finish coat of lacquer..

I just love her new FACE LIFT...:)

I hope you enjoy this post, while I am HOPEFULLY enjoying IKEA and hoping my
hubby at least..sort of..enjoys it...:)
Have a BEAUTIFUL day...

I've seen so many of those two-tier tables at Goodwill in my lifetime but, now that I want one to paint for myself, I can't find one. I love your transformation!

A great table.
IKEA is one of my favorite places, I live less than 30 minutes from one.
Can you tell me what the measurement is from the top of the bottom shelf to the top of the top tier on your end table? Inspiration has just hit!

Ooooh, I am going to buy a spray gun this weekend. We have onlyl used spray paint for our furniture makeovers and that can get expensive if it is a big piece. I can't wait to get a spray gun. We are working on our second two tier table now. First one was ballet pink for our 14 year old. Second one is French Lilac for my 21 year old niece. Seems you are never too old for a pastel two-tier table!

I love your work, my goodness what talent. I had seen this done with 2 tables put together, end to end. Which made a bench at the end of a bed.Made a cushion for the middle. It was pretty too.
