So as you guys know I did a "at the beach" coffee table a couple of weeks ago.
I got so many wonderful comments on it and many of them were saying...Make a "at the creek"
OR "at the Lake" So I decided to take a coffee table I had up in my shed that I was never really happy with and transform that.
I got out my homemade chalk paint again and painted the top and then wrote on
"life is better at the Lake" (since I live only 20 minutes from Lake Michigan)
I painted on the letters and distressed them and when it was done I dry brushed a light stencil over the center. I liked that these kind of look like star fish. :)
I know this is a short and sweet post, but I have been busting through some major projects this week
and we leave for a 24 hour straight through car trip ( with 4 kids..EEEK) to see both sets of parents for
Spring Break, so as you can imagine...I am a little bit pressed for time..:)
So with that said, I am going to try and listen to some of the tables I have painted and just enjoy
some R&R at the Beach!
I hope you all have a wonderful and BEAUTIFUL spring break.
I will see you on the flip side.
Hugs, Karin
