The Golden Elephant! Navy and Gold Tribal Aztec Desk Makeover

Good Morning my Beauties.
I have a fun makeover for you guys today.
Now I have plenty of other pieces photographed that I could have blogged about
but I was just having way to much fun with this one to not show the transformation
as soon as the paint was dry.
My sister picked this desk up for me at a garage sale for $7.
I loved the simple design of the desk....and the cheap cheap price. :)

I decided I wanted to funky it up a little but I wasn't quite sure
how I wanted to do that yet...
So I just started painting.
I grabbed my american Navy blue Born on the 4th of July paint
and got to work.

Once it was painted It looked awesome but I still wanted to add some FUNK.
So I grabbed my Americana Tribal Aztec stencil and some gold paint
and got to work.

I had already spray painted these fun Elephant knobs from hobby lobby
and the gold stencil kind of brought it all together.

I even did some fun geometric stenciling along the fronts of the drawers
where the elephant knobs were placed.

I love how it all came together...all funky and gold and navy!
My daughter was already trying to steal it. :)
I hope you enjoyed this latest makeover.
Until next time,
go make someones day Beautiful!
