This is what she was meant to look like.
But of course; she started out looking like this...
Not much to look at...Yet...:)
So I got to work, sanding and priming..
Then painting, glazing and distressing her..
and here she is with her Marble top in perfect condition...,
back on its throne, where it belongs.
Thanks so much,
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!

Great job!! It looks awesome!
Love it! Want another whole table shot.
You need to make one of those signs with another French saying in the blue. Maybe a perfume, powder room etc.
Such good ideas Ginger!!! Thanks!!! I will try to add the whole table shot..:)
Lovely makeover! Aren't we so lucky where we can see light and beauty where others might see a boring dark wood side table? I sure count myself as lucky.
Thanks for sharing :)

You did a beautiful job. Looks amazing.
I don't know which part I love the most; the color, the curvy french legs, the hardware--it's all beautiful. Great job.
OMG! I have this Exact entire bedroom set ~ Dresser, Chest, Mirror, two night stands! Have been wanting to paint it forever, but have been too chicken. Maybe I'll try it now.
Love the curves of this piece! It looks gorgeous!
I WANT a table like this for my bedroom. So Jealous! Seriously :) I have featured it http://iamonly1woman.blogspot.com/2011/08/check-me-out-saturday-week-74-favorite.html
Such a pretty color and the marble top is gorgeous. Thanks for linking to my party!
I love the color. We just got a little table like this for free but it doesn't have the marble top ... sad day right!
I just did one very similar and linked it up on MMS. Nice job!
Gorgeous!! Great transformation!!
Oh my goodness you find the best things and then do the best things with them! Lovely!
Stunning! I'm so in love with the greys these days. It's the new neutral and I'm color phobic so it suits me lol. I hope you will come show this off at my VIP Party today. http://designergarden.blogspot.com/2011/08/vip-party-22.html
Oh, my goodness! I just found your table on Pinterest and followed the link here... What a surprise to find that you have a booth at 'Changing Tymes'. I'm originally from Grand Rapids and I am slightly obsessed with that store! My home is almost completely decorated in finds from there. Beautiful table!
