Wine bottle vases

Since it was a very LONG, wonderful Holiday weekend and I am sure everyone is as tired as I am; I am going to put up an old project I did a couple years ago. Now the the Holiday is over, you might have a couple of empty wine bottles hanging around; and if you do, I have the perfect project for you. I got the idea for these hanging bottle vases a couple of years ago from http://green.thefuntimesguide.com/2009/12/diy_wine_bottle_vases.php
It was very easy to do. I had been saving some fun labels that I had purchased on a visit to Colorado. These ended up looking beautiful as decorations for the wine bottles.
There are so many fun things you can do with this idea. I hope you enjoy.
Have a beautiful day!!

Love it! What type of hardware did you use?

And the project would be more fun if you drank the three bottles first!

Ginger, here is a list of the hardware. I got it at Home depot. The threaded pipe was bought in a big length and I just had hubby hack saw the sizes I needed and then sprayed everything with the hammered copper spray paint..
(1) Top plate connector/ceiling flanges (3/8″ size)
(1) 1″ split ring hanger
(2) screws to fit and hold the top plate connector (you may also want drywall anchors if you are not mounting directly into studs or another material)
(1) piece of 3/8″ threaded rod, cut into 2 1/2″ pieces.
It was fun drinking the wine too!! :)
