Hello my Beauties!
I hope you are all doing wonderful today.
I had an amazing weekend at the Randolph City Markets
first ever MidWest DIY bloggers conference
doing my first ever conference
DIY DEMO.
I was excited and nervous at the same time,
but I met so many fabulous bloggers and editors and Social Media
Peeps that my head is STILL spinnin.
So while I compose my recap of that fabulous event
I thought I would show you a makeover I was teasing you about before I left
for Chicago.
Her name...is Estherbelle.
You can see from this photo that she was very well loved.
Parts of her legs were cracking and the top was very damaged and worn but
she had STYLE!
you may remember from this pic from my INSTAGRAM account of me scoring her while out garage saleing with my sisters.. You can see me holding her mirror. :)
But you just know she wanted to be the Belle of the Ball again!
Plus there was some new paint I was eager to try called Chroma Color
by none other than Cari Cucksey
Yeah..you know...Cash and Carry. HGTV....You get the drift..
She debuted it at the Country Living fair and I thought this was also the perfect opportunity to also announce the winner of the tickets..but I will get to that at the End...:)
I was so excited to try it.
Chroma•Color™ is a water based Paint & Primer in one.
It is Green Safe with low VOC's and creates a soft, smooth finish.
It was time to get to work.
I cleaned the piece up and started to paint.
I chose Mohair blue because the piece just seemed to be calling for a bold fun pretty color.

Plus it matched the sweet little silk scarf that had been left in Estherbelle's drawer. Which is where her name came from. :)
The great thing I found out about this paint is that UNLESS its going to be a kitchen cabinet or table top you really don't need to WAX it....You heard me....NO WAX.
I applied two light coats since I still wanted a little bit of her past showing,
and when it was dry I just buffed it a little giving it a nice sheen.
That was it....and I was IN LOVE
I think you will agree that Estherbelle looks Beautiful in BLUE.
I simply spray painted the old original hardware to give her a more glamour look and she really didn't need much more than that.
I think you will agree she is the EstherBELLE of the ball in this Beautiful Mohair Blue Chroma color paint makeover!
This was one of my easiest makeover ever but yet the hardest to let go of.
I am bringing her into the store tomorrow after holding on to her for a couple weeks to see if there MIGHT be somewhere she could go in the house.
But alas...she shines to bright now and she is meant to see the WORLD.
Now..before I go..I didn't want to forget about announcing the WINNER
of the pair of tickets to this years COUNTRY LIVING FAIR in OHIO.
So without Further ado...
the winner is....
C.David Pierce.
I will be sending you a pair of tickets to the Country Living Fair.
I hope you all enjoyed the latest makeover.
I can't wait to share more.
Until next time..
Have a BEAUTIFUL day.
