Welcome back my Beauties!
I am excited to be back with you all to show off another makeover.
Its that time of month when we do our Themed Furniture Makeover and I am using this vintage buffet as part of our roundup!y
You can see from the picture that this buffet had seen it fair share of use and ware.
It may have been battered, but I could see it would be BEAUTIFUL!
This months theme is Red, White, or Blue.
I chose BLUE..
Pure and Originals STEEL BLUE to be exact.

I really wanted to make this piece pop so I just knew this color was the perfect choice.

In order to prep this piece I just lightly sanded the whole piece with my Rockwell sander.
I removed all the hardware and got my piece ready to paint.

Since I love brass and blue together I decided to spray paint the hardware with Rustoleums bright coat metallic finish.
Once everything was dry and I put my top coat on it was ready to put it back together again.
And this is how it looked!
I was in LOVE!

I gotta tell ya, this was a hard one to let go.
I mean, my mind was swimming as to how I could somehow fit this into my house!

But it was not to be!
It is now in my booth at CHANGING THYMES Grandville's Chicago Drive store waiting for its forever home!

I always love seeing what the power of paint can do!
Now that you have seen my before and after,
make sure you pop on over to all my DIY Furniture Girls
Makeovers and see what they prettied up!
