ugly frame turned into COOL chalk board

Leaving for camping for the labor day weekend...with no electricity, and definitely no WIFI, I am
pretty sure I will not be getting any posting done. So for the first time ever I am going to try to schedule some posts...
We shall see if they work. :)
Here I took and old gold ugly frame from goodwill. I gave it a good coat of
green spray paint..but not too good, because I wanted some of that gold to come through.

I am really happy because it did and even more so when I distressed it. Then I painted the old glass with
home made chalk board paint which you can see and old tutorial I did on that HERE.

When I was done I had this really cool chalk board.
I love how it turned out. I hope you all have a BEAUTIFUL weekend.

Great frame, Karin! I've been trying to re-use different frames that I pick up or have put on the side in my current projects. Such a money saver if you can just update them.

Great idea! I have a big frame I was thinking about painting the wall and framing the chalkboard that way. :D
