I got to tell you...This weekend was another killer. I honestly don't know where the time goes. The weekend just seems to vaporize when you have 4 kids. I don't think I could tell you what we were doing, It was just constant going and working on things that needed to get done. By tonight I was whipped. But I NEEDED to do something crafty. I get that way on Sunday nights when the whole weekend it filled with kids stuff and laundry and cleaning and girl scouts....etc..... SOOOOO much like a drug addict who starts to get the shakes when they need there fix, by Sunday night I needed my fix. Well much to my Hubby's dismay, I keep a COLLECTION of things I MIGHT need to craft with. some of them are pillows. Now everyone knows how FREAKIN expensive stupid throw pillows are, an when I find a matching set in good condition at my Goodwill I grab them.
I got these pillows for 2.99 a piece. They have been sitting in my den for ummmmm a couple weeks in the bag...WAITING...
So when I get desperate and need a quick craft you all know I just hope on over to the amazing Karen at THE GRAPHICS FAIRY. I printed out these vintage Christmas adds on some iron on paper, and got out my iron. within 5 minutes I had some adorable Christmas pillows. I just love the vintage worn look of them. I thought the browns just went perfect together. So for now the BEAST has been tamed and I have had my quick fix. The shakes are gone for now, and I can sleep like a baby knowing I got to do something crafty in this crazy weekend. I hope you all have a BEAUTIFUL day. :)

Oooooooh! I am in love! Those pillows are just gorgeous, and the fact you repurposed them makes 'em even sweeter. (Is repurposed the right word? Whatever ... you "Goodwilled" them!) Excited for what you come up with next, so I'm clicking to follow you! Jules
LOL, I know just what you mean about needing a craft "fix" :) Love your pillow. x
Great job! I've made a lot of pillows with iron on transfers, but didn't know you could iron it on with the stuffing in there. Good to know!
Your pillows turned out beautifully!
Pam
