Oh my gosh! I almost forgot to show you guys this fun little craft I did about, oh a month and a half ago. I forgot I took all the pics and edited them and then just stuck them in the draft folder on blogger...OOOPPPS!!!!! Anyway, this was a fun little craft from that pile of stuff I had gotten at Goodwill. I got the whole thing for 1.99 but I didn't want to use them the way they had planned.
I have seen these all over blog land and thought; I have the letters, so why not?
I also had this scrap book paper I had gotten last year for another project. So I laid the letters on top of the paper and started cutting out the letters with my x-acto knife.
I then used my rubber cement glue to attach them to the letters.
I then hot glue gunned all my letters where I had wanted them placed and to re-enforce them, I took one of the hundreds of stir sticks and hot glued those to the back. When that dried I modge podged the paper on top to give it a nice finish. I finished off by adding some eye hooks to the top and used the ribbon they had supplied to hang it. All this for $1.99...NOT TO SHABBY...:)
Don't forget you have until Jan 1 to enter the giveaway for a signed original oil painting. You can click HERE to go to the post.

Oh how cute! I love using scrapbook paper for all kinds of projects so this is just another one I'll have to add to my list. ;) I also like that you diverged a bit from most of the Noel signs I've seen in that all of the letters seem to be toppling here and there instead of just the "O". I think it makes it a little more quirky and fun. Good idea with the stir sticks too. :)
Beautiful!
That is so cute! Merry Christmas to you. Thanks for following. See you in 2012!
