Dollar Tree Autumn Wreath.

I did it! I finally started crafting for fall. I had made my harvest sign a few weeks back but I still need to make my wreath for my mantle. Thanks to Sarah over at Thrifty Decor Chick for
the great idea for my form.

You see Sarah had made a wreath with all her Dollar tree leaves. CHECK..had those already!
But I just was getting bored with the round wreaths I wanted to make a fun Rectangular wreath.
Well she said to go to Hobby Lobby, BUT when I went into the Dollar Tree to get more
Hot glue sticks...LOW AND BEHOLD....

thick foam core board...for a BUCK!!! $1.... Those things are $5 at Hobby Lobby.
Now I was able to go home and get to business!! I cut out the shape that I wanted
using a straight edge and a razor. I also sprayed it orange like Sarah had said...to make sure it didn't show through.
Guess what..she was right...I didn't need too...:)

I could have saved the dry time and been right to gluing but oh well;
It gave me more time to enjoy my coffee.
I started randomly glue the leaves around and folding the edges up.
The dollar tree had two types of leaves. The big paper ones that I loved; in all different species.
They also had the silkier ones in red, orange and green. I bought em all!
Couldn't help myself...:)

The paper ones have these little wire stems. I didn't cut them all the way off.
Just left a little, kinda like when they fall off the trees.

I then found some of my autumn garland that I already had on my mantle and snipped of some pieces and started gluing those in with all my leaves.

Now my Mantle is complete.....

at least until I decide to change it again..

Until then..I am loving my new AUTUMN wreath, that cost me only a few bucks.
I hope you enjoyed, and I hope you have a BEAUTIFUL day.
