Petite Peacock Table

Hello my Beauties! I hope the day is finding you well!
I had a horrible case of the allergies yesterday so hopefully by the time
you are reading this those have gone and past and I can get crackin on some more Projects.
Today I thought I would show you a cute little PEACOCK table I did a few
weeks back.

I got this at a garage sale for $5 along with my MAISON TABLE.
It wasn't looking too good, but I hoped to take care of that.

The first thing I did after scrubbing it down and getting off all the  spider webs and eggs was give it
a nice quick coat of  Ce Ce Caldwell's Destin Gulf.  I thinned it way down to just sort of give it a wash. Then used my AGED wax brush and waxed it and buffed it when it was dry.
I loved the patina it gave the table. Now you know I could have left well enough alone; but HONESTLY...when have you EVER known me to do that....:)

I quick grabbed one of my Krink pens and drew on a cute PETITE PEACOCK.

Then I distressed the whole thing. I love that it gives the table just a little POP of something.

Hopefully it will go to making someones home BEAUTIFUL.

If you left well enough alone... it wouldn't look like "you" when it was done ;) Beautiful!

I just love this!! I totally agree with you that sometimes, things just need a little "pop"! That peacock is awesome! If you have a minute, I'd love for you to link up to Sweet Sharing Monday - http://saynotsweetanne.com/2012/sweet-sharing-monday-22/

Love it, and you creativity never ceases to amaze me. I'm all about "pop", not a monochrome women at all. I can so relate to your allergies, I've been suffering all summer - they've been horrible in Chicago! Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration with Sunday’s Best – you helped make the party a success!
