Garage sale Vanity turned VINTAGE BEAUTY

Good morning my BEAUTIES!
If you have been following along on the Facebook page
you know this week threw us for a curve ball.
(my Mom lost her boyfriend of 8 years suddenly on Tuesday and it was very devastating for us all.
He was a wonderful man who brought a smile back to my Moms face that we had not seen since we lost our dad. He was a beautiful soul and we will be left with a hole in our hearts)

Luckily I had a few projects finished and photographed while I spend this week
with my Mom.

Last month I had picked up this vanity and bench at a garage sale for 15 dollars.
It was needing an update..and by update..it needed to go "back in time"

The seat cushion had this faux stitched material.

So I recovered it with some vintage inspired fabric.

I then painted the piece with a pale pink that I had custom mixed.

When the paint was dry I waxed it and distressed it..

I love how it went just took a little bit of love
to give it that vintage feel.

I hope you enjoyed this little transformation.
I also hope to be back to some projects some time next
week, but we shall see.
Have a BEAUTIFUL day.
