For some reason this post is seeing a ton of new traffic lately.
I figured I would repost it to make it easier to find.
Even though it was small and simple it
is still a favorite makeover of mine!
Enjoy!
Good morning my Beauties! I have been working like crazy and I kinda
feel like a squirrel trying to get all his nuts in order before winter.:)
I have been cracking through some pieces of furniture in order to
MAYBE let hubby park in the Garage this winter; .....I said MAYBE!!! :)
one of the pieces I worked on was this Dated 70's end table...it was very RETRO
to say the least.
So I grabbed my CeCe Caldwells Michigan Pine and slapped it on and
after dried I waxed and distressed it.
Even better..it SOLD the day after I put it in my booth!
WOOO HOOO!!
Love it when that happens!
I hope you enjoyed this little update.
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!

Beautiful, Karin! I love that color! Pretty, pretty, pretty! I'm also crushing on your owls! :D Great job, lady!!!
Nice work! Love that Michigan pine. I always pass on tables like this because I always think they are just TOO dated...shows what I know! Lol. I love it!
I have this exact endtable, with matching coffee table waiting in line for painting.
Boy that colors name is spot on.Reminds me of the Pondarosa Pines I grew up with....I like and can see why it sold...a great simple color to team with wood tones...
Beautiful job! I wish I could find wonderful pieces like that.
Ooooh!!! I love it!!! The color is perfect!!! It would look nice with the Queen chair I just made! Hee hee!!! :) LOVE the little white owl too!

Great remake. I have had my eye on the very same type of table. I sort of like the wood, but thought about black. Thank you so much for sharing!
I used to have an end table similar to this one. I love what you did to it especially the color.

Great job! Congrats on the quick sale! :)
Thanks so much for linking up! I have seen so many of these tables discarded, but HOW CUTE!!!! what a great job, as usual!
I ALWAYS overlook tables like this..especially the ones with glass tops. You have changed my mind on tables like this. Yours is so gorgeous and I looovve the color!
QUESTION: I HAVE CONSIDERED DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS, B U T, MY 2 TABLES HAVE A BRASSY SMALL TRIM AROUND INSIDE @ TABLE WHERE THE PIECE OF GLASS FITS. HOW WOULD YOU SUGGEST I ADDRESS THAT? OVER THE DATED BRASS....THANK YOU AND YOUR TABLE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND INSPIRING.
Gorgeous piece Karin. Thanks for linking up at Shabbilicious Friday this week.

This looks great! I have been searching for this very table and have let a few get away. I love what you did, but I am almost torn to keep the wood tone. Thank you so much for sharing.
This is great!
