Vintage LION coffee Chalkboard Revamp

Good morning my BEAUTIES. I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
I thought I would show you a quick little project I worked on this Sunday.

I actually got a little bit of time to go to a couple garage sales this week and I scored
this cute little chalkboard. I was not to keen on the flower picture
but I knew just what to do.

I soaked the paper picture in water and started peeling off the paper. What was left was this paper residue.  I scrubbed as much as I could to get it off knowing that it was just going to be covered up again.

I went on over to The GRAPHICS FAIRY and printed off this
cute little LION coffee advertisement.

I glued the label on and modge podged over it.

Making sure to really rub around to the edges to give it that vintage feel.

I love that something so simple completely changed the look of this chalkboard.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!

A crafter after my own heart. I am also an avid coffee lover and create a lot of coffee-inspired art projects. This chalkboard is beautiful.

Awesome! I've totally got to attempt a transfer on a piece of furniture! Love how this turned out. I would have never thought to do that to a chalkboard. Love it!

Karin, I LOVE this!!! When you said it was Lion Coffee, I assumed it was the one from Hawaii. Very cool logo/label.
