Grain sack inspired Coffee Table Makeover!

Good Morning my Beauties.....Its been a LOOONG cold Michigan winter,
and we are off enjoying a nice warm vacation in Florida..
So I am hitting REPLAY on this old Makeover
for you guys while I recharge my SOLAR batteries in the sun...:)

Good Morning My BEAUTIES!
I hope the day finds you well!
I am freaking out a bit as I was just notified by the local media to be on
the morning show. I am not gonna lie..I am freaking out..I am very much a behind the scenes
kind of person, so this is one more step of coming out of my "comfort zone" and being open (even though I am scared crapless) to push myself to do new things...WISH ME LUCK!!!

But before all that, I have been working on furniture like a fiend..
Trying like a squirrel storing its nuts for winter to create some inventory
for the upcoming cold winter so I don't have to paint so much in the freezing cold .
I bought this table for 8 bucks at a local thrift store. It was structurally in great condition
but the top was really scraped and water marked.

I started by painting the top white and the legs in CE CE CALDWELL's Traverse city cherry.
I was inspired by my FARM FRESH table makeover that you can see HERE

after a couple coats of each color and waxing and buffing, I used tape to mark off two lines to
mimic a grain sack.

I used my crimson acrylic paint for that. When it was dry, I distressed and waxed it again and buffed it.

I love how it turned out.

It looks like it has been sitting around an old farm house forever.

It was old..but now it looks really old, and I LOVE that!
I hope you enjoyed this latest furniture makeover and don't forget to link up to the LINK PARTY
going on until Monday!

Until next time...
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!
Hugs,
