"Pretty Woman" Roadside rescue Desk

Whew!!! This one was a doozie!! Remember her? The roadside rescue. She was sitting at the end of the driveway waiting to be picked up by the trash, when my sister told me to drive by and see if it was still there.

I was pretty sure I threw out a disc in my back getting her in the truck, but I knew she would be worth it. The hubby got a little ticked because she sat in the garage for a bit; but I was waiting for my inspiration to come.

Well inspiration came, but then the weather would not compromise. Rain and cold..rain and cold..rain and cold..then finally on a Saturday I was able to start.
Now she used to be a vanity but the mirror was gone so there were holes. So I cut two little blocks of wood and nailed them in place and wood filled them and then sanded them down until they were even. Once it was primed..(the camera ate that picture) and painted, you cant even tell there were holes there.

I picked this gorgeous lagoon blue color because her lines seemed very Asian to me. I had this mirror for a while and so I painted her the same.  She looks perfect with her.  I call her Pretty Woman. : )

I can't believe someone was gonna throw her out.
I hope you all had a great Halloween and didn't eat too much candy.  Have a BEAUTIFUL day.

You really did a great job on her. If her owners could only see her now? They might be knockin on your door, demanding her back.
