$0 free cupboard door home made chalk boards

Home Stories A2Z
Good morning my BEAUTIES!!
I hope you are having a BEAUTIFUL labor day weekend.
Hopefully I am, too...(I have this post scheduled since we are taking the kids on the train
for the first time to CHICAGO)
I thought I would show you some FREE chalkboards I made.

A few months back I answered a craigslist add for about 20 free cupboard doors.
I have made multiple projects with them but what they are really great for, are CHALKBOARDS.
I went to my shed and got 3 different size cupboard doors and also a bunch of scrap boards
that I had gotten from my neighbor. Hubby cut the boards for me, while I painted the backs of the doors with home made CHALK BOARD paint. You can see previous posts with the recipe HERE.

I then used some OOPS paint that I had in my paint pile..:)
Once everything was dry I screwed them to the doors from the back.

Once everything was dry and distressed I went into my CRAP....CRAFT room..and got out
a fun set of  letter stamps..

That my husband got for FREE...someone at his work was giving them away for FREE.....:)
SCORE...I took a little acrylic paint and added fun words to my chalkboards.
Now they are all set to help re-fill the booth for FALL..
I hope you all have a BEAUTIFUL day and a wonderful LABOR day!
