Good Morning my Beauties!
Its been a long cold weekend here...busy as usual, with the kids being home on mid winter break until WEDNESDAY...aack..and I wonder why I haven't accomplished much..:)
The one eensie teensie project I was able to do was this.
I saw this great quote this weekend and knew I had to do something with it.
I had bought these boards at Goodwill a few weeks back. I got the whole bunch for $1.99.
I threw them in my cart and knew I just had to wait until I knew what I would use them for.
I quick slapped some paint on it and let it dry.
While it was drying I just used my silhouette to cut out the quote. I used 2 different colored vinyl
JUST FOR FUNSIES!! :)
I then put the vinyl on the board, waxed it and when it was dry I gave it a coat of poly to help seal it.
Like a said...a quick little project for a busy weekend.

Karin, your sign is terrific! The quote is great, too. It is much like your blog title, I think. Art is beauty and beauty is also art. Either way, it is meaningful.

Oh my god! This is what we called beauty of art.
What a gonga as a friend of mine always called great finds. Those boards are awesome, so much can do with them and you sure hit the jackpot on your first one. Love that saying and how you painted it. Great project. I'll be watching to see what you do with rest of boards, what a deal for all of them.
