This is the table that got Momma her groove back.....for about a week..LOL and then we got busy with stuff again...
This is what the little side table looked like when I got it at the thrift store..it was alright...a bit scratched and the cherry finish wasn't doing it for me..:)
So I gave it a couple swipes of some of my Ce Ce caldwell paint and when it was dry I drew an orchid on it. Can you see the little vase in the above picture. That was my motivation. I had that vase sitting in the garage with the silk orchid and the inspiration for the colors and the flower just struck me.
here is a close up of me drawing on the orchid with my KRINKS..:) Don't worry about the pencil lines, when I buff the top with wax it will erase the pencil.....but not the krinks

Cool makeover. Love your orchid, and the vibrant colors.
Very cute - You are very talented - I am from Holland - and now live in AR, so hello my old neighbor!I'd love if you stop by my blog www.eatloveinspire.blogspot.com

Wow, Karin, it's been a while since I've visited blogs and stuff, but ADORE your new layout. Spotted your cute little table redo at MMS today.
All is okay with hubby and family, just not blogging now (or online much). On a whim I decided to for a while today, and glad I did, 'cuz I'm seeing what YOU are up to!
God Bless,
