Another Dogwood Makeover for an old table

Good Morning my Beauties! I know I showed you a sneak peek of this a couple of weeks ago, but
I finally got around to photographing it...and it was not easy..we had lots and lots of clouds and gray...but good for pictures...NO SNOW...:)
so please excuse the pictures.

I have been saving this end table for a while...(fact is I forgot I had it...My hubby had helped me "organize" one of the sheds this summer, and to him...that was pretty much stacking everything like
Jenga blocks so until I had worked through some bigger pieces..I had forgotten it was there)

You can see, it was very very beat up. I didn't care that it was that beat up because of the front..
I just loved it.

So one day when I had finally gotten into the shed and RE-discovered this table
I decided to slap on some of my CeCe Caldwells California Gold paint.
After it was dry I was trying to decide what to do next..
Well I had just done my BEST of and saw my other Dogwood Dresser.
I MISSED it...I thought..I love Dogwoods so much, ( We planted one after my Dad died and I look forward to it blooming every Spring)
Soooo, why not do another one..they make me happy.

I started drawing on my dogwood with pencil...

Then I started using my Krink Permanent Paint Pen to draw it on.
As you can see...I can NEVER stay in the lines...Its just the way I am...:)

Here it is almost done..I had sprayed the handles silver, but decided they needed more PUNCH

So I used my Krink pen to color the knobs too...

Here she is...all done...an old beat up table...turned into something with meaning

Beautiful job! I love the dogwood motif on the top! For the outlines, did you just erase them after you were done with the paint pen? Thanks for sharing this!

Gorgeous!! I love the color you painted the table. I have quite a few old [50+ yr old tables!] that were left to me from my parents' home] tables and cant wait to redo them!! Just have to find the right color to paint them. People think I am nuts for painting old Mahogony furniture...but I just cant wait!!! Thank you!

Pretty, pretty table, Karin! You are so good--never in a million years could I freehand draw something like that and have it turn out! I am also going to have to look for those Krink pens--I don't think I've ever seen them before, but can imagine they are pretty useful for all sorts of tiny painting spots--clever idea to use them on the hardware. Have a great weeK!
