Good Monday to you my BEAUTIES!
Man am I whooped...
but not enough to keep me from finishing a project.
We were camping all week in BEAUTIFUL Traverse City,
and when we pulled up in the driveway on Saturday I had 3 messages
from my booth that I sold some big items...UMMMM??? OOPS
I have been so busy with the family stuff this summer
that I have not been painting a ton..
Well I had to get busy..so while hubby unpacked the camper..I started painting.
I had this adorable parlor table from Goodwill.
I had wished the top was in better condition because I might have saved the detail
but it was chipping and popping in too many places..even though in this picture you can't see it.
I decided to do a two tone color on it to make the base POP a little. I used CeCe Caldwells
Smokey Mountain and Alaskan Tundra.
Here is where the fun started. I have just recently learned how to not only IMPORT images into my
Silhouette, but then how to trace and cut them.
So I imported THE GRAPHICS FAIRYS, French Invoice into my
silhouette program and cut out a vinyl stencil.
I laid it on top and painted on the invoice with some white acrylic paint.
When it was dry I distressed the table and waxed and buffed the whole thing.
So there is one thing that will be heading to the booth Today!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and go on to have a
BEAUTIFUL day!
OK..now HUGE favor to ask!! I made the TOP TEN in a local competition for MISSION MAKEOVER....I NEED YOUR HELP...All I need you to do is to CLICK on the link and LIKE my FRENCH ARMOIRE....You can see that makeover HERE...
