Roadside Rescue Emerald Green Dresser makeover
Now this..this probably took the most manual labor to overhaul. If you click the link you will see what I had to go through to transform her.
Persian Blue Hall Table Makeover
This piece had such intricate details but was in such poor shape I had so much fun painting to bring it back.
Welcome back my Beauties!
Can you even believe that we have reached the end of the year already.
It's been a whirlwind to say the least.
I have lost a best friend and traveled overseas.
My daughter graduated from high school and we had lots of adventures.
I always almost forget to do these end of the year posts but I am so thankful when I do.
It's always such a good reminder to live life to the fullest.
Even though I still haven't had time to write up the post about our trip to England yet, it was one of my all time favorite parts of this past year.
I have dreamt about it for years and being able to take the kids to experience it was a dream come true.
This was one of my absolute favorite pics of Russ and I.
It was a few weeks before our 25th wedding anniversary and one of our daughters snapped this on their phone of us walking along the shore of Seven Sisters Cliffs.
I have dreamed of seeing these Chalk Cliffs for years.
It was one of those moments where you actually get to feel your dream come true.
I am a gypsy soul at heart and the more I get to see of this Beautiful world the fuller my heart.
But enough about that..Now its time to talk about my favorite makeovers this year.
If you click on all the highlighted links you can see befores.
This one was outdated but transformed to timeless with a bit of paint.
This by far was a close second to the most difficult makeover.
It was a beast and if you click over you will see WHY it was such a labor of love.

This was one of the most fun for me because having found it for free and it being in such bad shape I really couldn't make it worse.
So I had fun with a vintage advertisement to bring it back to life.
This piece had such intricate details but was in such poor shape I had so much fun painting to bring it back.
This one..Oh my... I had so much fun.
Head on over to see how easy it was to transform.
Another piece that was in such poor shape but had so much detail it needed to be saved. A little paint and some sanding brought her back.
This was another fun one. It was beat up but some paint and a fern transfer and its took on a whole new life.
This little beauty may not look like much but if you check out her before you will see how beat up she was and how a couple coats of paint made her new again.
Small Dresser given a Regal Makeover
This was the one that I went WAAAAY outside my comfort zone on.
She was so beat up but had the most amazing details and hardware I had to find a way to bring her back!
Updating a Waterfall Chest of Drawers
And last but not least. A fun vintage transfer that took a very plain boxy dresser to a new level.
Persian Blue Vintage Farm and Floral Dresser Makeover
So there you have it.
My favorite makeovers of 2018.
I hope you enjoyed looking back as much as I did,
and I hope you had some good moments in 2018 to look back on as well.
I know in years past it was much harder for me to find the Good Things with everything that was happening in my life.
My wish for 2019 is that you find the Beauty where you can;
and if you can't find it...You make it.
Until next year.
Have a Beautiful day!
